Style, Scones and Summer Fun: A Very Fashionable Afternoon Tea At The Nook On 5
What a Wednesday it was!
We had an absolutely fabulous time at our Very Fashionable Afternoon Tea at The Nook on 5. It was an afternoon filled with delectable treats, fizz, and, of course, all things fashion. With our in-house stylist, Carrie Lister, showcase our stunning summer collection and offering her expert styling advice, and the talented makeup artist, Sam Preece, unveiling her tips and tricks for the perfect summer look, it was an event that left us all feeling inspired and oh-so-fashionable.
The fantastic Carrie took us through all of our bodega best bits, from summer dresses and lightweight blouses to our staple hareem pants, taking us through the colours shapes and styles to suit every woman.
Carrie didn't stop at just presenting the collection; she gave us all the tips on how to style outfits for those hot days that turn into cool evenings. It's all about layering and accessorising, ladies! She emphasised the power of a statement jacket, a lightweight scarf, or some dazzling jewellery to transform any outfit from day to night effortlessly.
Sam treated us to an exclusive makeup demonstration, sharing her best-kept secrets to achieve a radiant summer look, from achieving the perfect sun-kissed glow to mastering the art of a fresh, natural face.
Sam's tips were particularly useful for the summer season, as she showed us how to choose lightweight and long-lasting products that won't melt away under the scorching sun, leaving us all filled with newfound confidence to take on the summer with a flawless face.
Of course, no fashionable afternoon tea would be complete without a delicious spread. The Nook's fabulous team delighted our taste buds with a mouthwatering selection of scones, sandwiches, and a glass (or two) of fizz. We can't think of a better way to spent the afternoon with your girl squad!
